Good choice. I've thought that, had I one of these bikes, I'd do the same to the silver headlight trim and the radiator fairings.

I didn't like the glossy factory windscreen so I went over it with a can of Plasti dip I had laying int he garage. One of those 15 minute mods that I believe improves the look of the bike. On a side note , the headlight assembly is super easy to remove and disassemble. Possible projector/led retrofit in the future?? That looks really good. I wonder if you had chrome handlebars would the plasti dip be durable enough? Mine are powder coated a sorta platinum colour from the factory.

If I were going to spray the chrome handlebars, I would rough it up with emery cloth/ sand paper and use truck bed lining in an aerosol can.

I removed the two top Allen screws but was still held in place and I didn't want to force it.

You just had to apply more force, it has rubber stoppers, the only thing holding the headlight ass. to the bike is those to Alan screws.

about halfway through the video Was easy once you are shown. I just didn't want to force the issue. Have the front flashers installed now.
