New bike is my 2020 GSXS 750Z. I really like it so far. I have not broken it in fully yet, but I cant wait to try it on really tight hair pins that I struggle with on my ZX10 or my FJR 1300. The seat really, really, really sucks however, but I am going to see if I can fix that with some gel foam and a new high density foam top. I will have to recover it because of the thickness change but we will see. I have had several sport bikes, and never had a seat this bad that I can remember. If anyone knows a better option let me know, if not I will up date soon, my seat stuff gets here tomorrow they say

seat issue on 2020 gsxs 750 I know I am responding to my own thread, but read it if you want to improve your comfort under 50 bucks I removed the factory seat cover staples underneath the seat, removed the cover, I removed the shaped foam seat pad to access the seat pan. You need to file down the high honeycombs on the rear left and right sides of the seat pan flush with the rest of the seat pan, they align up directly beneath your hip bones, and sit about 1/2 inch higher than the rest of the seat pan. After that I cut and installed a 1/2 inch thick gel foam pad I purchased from amazon for $35 bucks and glued it to the seat pan with spray adhesive, then I put the factory shaped foam back on top of the gel foam pad and glued it also to the gel pad. I put the factory seat cover back on with a stapler using 1/4 inch long stainless staples. I sit about 1/2 inch higher, but other than that you cannot tell the difference except for the comfort. WOW, now I can actually ride the bike for day trips to the curvy roads now. FYI, I just rode 4000 miles to the tail of the dragon in Robbinsville NC and back on my FJR1300, so I can usually handle 8-10 hours a day in a seat, several days in a row. I am usually good for about 4-6 hours each day on my zx10 with no issues, so not being able to handle more than an hour or so on a new bike was unacceptable for me. FYI, if you go thicker than 1/2 inch on the gel pad, you will need different shaped foam, and you will have to make a new seat cover. FYI don't waste your money on an Air Hawk seat cushion, unless you like rolling all over the seat side to side and front to back whenever you touch the throttle. Best of luck to all, and If you have a better solution I am all ears lol

I wanted to up date my article. I just rode 7 hours last Saturday, and the seat was good. Great for the first 5 hours, but by 7 hours I was ready to call it a day. Before my seat repair 2 hours was the absolute max for me, and I was hurting after the first hour. No issues in the twisties with the seat either, I rode for 3.5 hours of that time on mountain roads, and I was pushing the bike.

This is great advice thank you for sharing. I am just 'breaking' myself back into riding after an 8 year hiatus and I am skeptical of my ability to ride beyond an hour or two on this seat as it is from stock.

Just came to the exact same conclusion before reading this. It's the plastic pan that's the problem. Suzuki need to focus more on this matter...the problems are all avoidable....I had a similar experience with my SV.
