Getting my lines redone on Tuesday! It's well well known fact that the GSXS has under powered brakes... (Me, I've never been in a situation where I felt like I couldn't stop in time) However, I've been told that upgrading the lines will have probably the biggest impact on stopping and feel... I'll update next week on if and how the difference is.

Does anyone make SS lines that fit our bikes? They'd compliment the 4-pot upgrade very well.

Yep. Pretty happy with that mod, but brake lever feel could be better. My supermoto brake lever with a 2-pot sliding caliper and SS lines feels better than currently on the Gixxus.. lol. Thanks for the link!

I was told that an 06 YAMAHA (or was it CBR?) uses a Brembo master cylinder as a stock piece. I was also told that the swap is super easy too...

That's where I'm going to go next! Just ordered the front SS lines. If the lever still doesn't feel quite right, I think I'll just source a new master.

Besides braided lines with "color choices" just plain look bad ass!

Yeah, I dig the colorways that were offered! I opted for the clear tubing and natural aluminum finish to go for a more OEM look. I wonder how the anodized color options hold up against fading..

Lines are on (and look bad ass!) There truly is a better feel in the brake lever. Over time the factory rubber lines will give more and more. You may not notice it as it'll be a gradual process. These new lines are a lifetime guarantee (at least the ones I got). And did I say, they look bad ass! I'll post pics tomorrow when I have a free moment...

Glad to hear! I bought the ones you linked, but they're taking forever to ship out. Do the front brakes feel firmer now? Not as spongey?

Yes... The suspension dives pretty hard (I get a lot of compression from the tubes now) might even play a little with it to tighten them up and see...
At first I was like oh well nothing big. But after I got home into my neighborhood I played with them a lot more I did some HARD braking and the bike stopped quickly. I noticed the lack of braking ability when I rode "two up" on the stock lines. Now that I swapped over I'll have to get the wife out w me and feel the new difference...

I installed mine today! Brake lever feel is substantially better and stoppies are less effort. Great fit and finish and the kit comes with everything- extra crush washer, tools needed to spin banjo fittings (wasn't needed), and rubber grommets that worked like the OEM setup. Here are some pics!
